Just a simple novel from a simple perspective about simple hatred and simple faith. Yet despite that, it's beautiful, moving, and a worthy character study of the 'good man' in Atticus Finch. My problem is it seems to be a genre that hit its peak in the late 60’s through 90s, and even modern iterations are few and far between and from what I’ve found always through a publisher.

The first three books of the X-Wing series covers this very nicely, and provides a great look into the military of the New Republic, and gave us some great characters.
